What an amazing achievement, and thanks to all of our customers for making this possible. We set the goal three years ago to reach 200 million bees saved since we started commercial beekeeping in 2010 by 2024, and you have smashed it!
With each jar of honey you are supporting beekeepers that are able to invest more into the wellbeing and upkeep of bees. So as a thank you we are giving away a FREE jar of honey with every 2 or more jars purchased*.
But its more than just bees, with 200 million bees supported you have also supported the pollination of over 267,468 acres. That's about 2/3 of Pembrokeshire, or 1/2 of Carmarthenshire, or the area of Gower, Anglesey and Cardiff all combined!
And, you have also saved over 35,662.4kg of CO2 from our atmosphere by consuming honey instead of table sugar. That is the same amount of CO2 that is in our atmosphere that would fill an area of 19,020 Olympic swimming pools. That's about the same as filling nearly 32 Principality Stadiums in Cardiff!
So you have all helped our planet survive that little bit longer. Thank you.
